You may have noticed we've been quieter than usual over the past couple weeks. That's because we've had a big project in the works. We're so excited to share the future of Equals with you! 

A little over a year ago, we started this website as a way for women to connect through smart and thoughtful content. Our recent move into print has only reaffirmed our mission to provide a respite from the incessant noise of the internet. In that spirit, we want to offer our readers a more substantive experience.

Starting Wednesday, September 25, we'll be publishing weekly "issues" of Equals online—each one exploring a central theme through original essays, photography, and illustrations.

To submit essays, photos, or illustrations for consideration, please view our submission guidelines and editorial calendar and submit pieces via submittable. Please note that all submissions must be received at least two weeks before the scheduled publication date.
